Antharyogam for Staff of Vidyalaya Institutions

Progressive Teachers Development Programme 

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya has conducted the Progressive Teachers’ Development Programme for teachers in Vidyalaya Educational Institutions on 29.01.2023 at GKD Auditorium. Mangala Arati, Bhajan, Spiritual Lecture, Guided Meditation, Kandha Sashti Kavasam’ and orientation on 21st Century Pedagogical Practices were the main components of the programme. A total of 175 (Male – 128, Female – 47) participants were participated and benefited.

The programme starts with Mangala Arati by Swami Virahanandaji, Secretary, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Maruthi College of Physical Education at 10.00 a.m followed by Bhajans praising the glory of God and Holy trio sung by Swami Harivratanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya T.A.T Kalanilayam Middle School in association with Vidyalaya Bhagavathars.

Swami Nirmaleshanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College Arts and Science has delivered a lecture on Guided Meditation with practical demonstration followed by Swami Tadbhasanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Polytechnic College has given Spiritual lecture on Value Enrichment.

Kandha Sashti Kavasam was recited by all the participants in association with Vidyalaya Bhagavathars in praise of Lord Muruga.    All the participants were oriented with 21st Century Pedagogical Practices by Dr. C. R. Sakthivel, Head, Department of BCA,Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College Arts and Science. He explained Zig Saw and ‘Just a Minute’ methods and Dr. M. Chandran, Associate Professor, Department of MCA, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College Arts and Science has explained various innovative techniques to be incorporated in teaching. Sri. N. Rajeshkumar,   Assistant Professor, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Education have explained the application of PhET (Simulations) which is very much useful for teaching learning process.

The programme concluded with Arati by Swami Virahanandaji, Secretary, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Maruthi College of Physical Education and all the participants were provided Prasadam.

Antharyogam for Non-Teaching Staff of Vidyalaya Institutions

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore conducted Spiritual Retreat (Andaryogam) for non-teaching staff of Vidyalaya Institutions on 20.11.2022. Mangala Arati, Bhajan, Spiritual Lecture, reciting Kandha Sashti Kavasam, lecture on social responsibilities of individuals, guidance programme to obtain welfare schemes of both Central and State Governments and Namavali were the major components of the programme.

The retreat commenced at 10.00 a.m. with Mangala Arati followed by Bhajan praising the glory of God and Holy Trio sung by Swami Harivratananda Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya T.A.T Kalanilayam Middle School in association with Vidyalaya Bhagavathars followed by spiritual lecture delivered by Swami Nirmaleshananda Maharaj, Secretary, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science. As Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa said ‘All the sins of the body fly away if one chants the name of God and sings his glories’, Swami Nirmaleshananda Maharaj delivered his address focusing prayer practices to get rid of Karma by quoting examples from the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, two of India’s greatest epics.

Dr.R.Abimanyu, Assistant Professor in Tamil, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science (SF Wing) deliberated the social responsibilities of every individual, respecting women and how our adverse actions affect the community as a whole using short video clippings on management of Water, Food, Waste and Plastic. Subsequently ‘Kandha Sashti Kavasam’ was recited by all the participants in praise of the Lord Muruga, seeking to shower His grace.

Dr.S.Sivasankar, Director of Physical Education, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Education explained about various welfare schemes of both Central and State Governments and guided participant how to obtain those Grant-in-aid welfare schemes.  Followed by the guidance session, Mrs. Ishwarya, General Manager, Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) Perianaickenepalayam, and Mr.Krishna Kumar and Mr.Saravana Thiyagarajan, Members from KVB Divisional Office, Coimbatore have deliberated their services and benefits of various loan plans to the participants.

The programme ended with Arati and all the participants were provided Prasadam (Lunch). A total of 246 participants benefitted from this programme.
