The Public Celebration of the Birthday of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna.
Gurupuja was celebrated on 05 January 2020 with the usual festivities. Swami Shantatmananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi presided over the Flag Hoisting ceremony in the morning. Dr. P. Ponmuthuramalingam, Regional Joint Director (FAC),Director of Collegiate Education, Coimbatore. Inaugurated the Cultural and Educational Exhibition and delivered the special address. At a public meeting Swami Shantatmananda delivered Presidential Speech on the topic “Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna ” and Prof. Dr. T.N. Pranatharthiharan, Spoke on the topic ‘Universal Religion as Envisioned by Swami Vivekananda’.Earlier that day, Sengottai Sri S.K.S Harihara Subramaniam and party rendered Nama Sankeerthanam, which was followed by a cultural program presented by students of the variour institutions of vidyalaya. The day-long event concluded with a Carnatic music concert by ‘Smt. S. Aishwarya & Kumari S. Saundarya, The great granddaughters of ‘Bharat Ratna’ M.S. Subbulakshmi, Chennai.
