Inter Vidyalaya Institutions Tournaments

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya organized the Inter-Vidyalaya Institutions Tournaments (IVIT) in commemoration of National Sports Day, celebrated to honour the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, the “Hockey Wizard of India.” The tournaments were conducted in four categories:

Primary Level (1^st to 5^th Standard)
Matric Level (6^th to 8^th Standard)
Post-Matric Level (10^th to 12^th and polytechnic & ITI)
Staff Level (Teaching and Non-Teaching)

A total of 20 games and 7 athletics events were held during July and August 2025, with 650 participants (492 boys and 158 girls) enthusiastically taking part.

The Valedictory Ceremony was held on 29.08.2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Maruthi College of Physical Education (SRMV MCPE). The ceremony commenced with a prayer song rendered by the Vidyalaya Bhagavathar. Dr. T. Jayabal, Principal of SRMV MCPE, delivered the Welcome Address, followed by a comprehensive tournament report presented by Dr. P. Senthilkumar, Assistant Professor, SRMV MCPE. The Chief Guest, Swami Tadbhasananda, Assistant Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore, delivered the Felicitation Address.

All distinguished dignitaries, along with the heads of various institutions, presented trophies, certificates, medals, and prizes to the winners and runners-up.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. S. Alagesan, Director of Swami Vivekananda Cultural and Heritage Centre, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore.
