The 10th International Day of Yoga was celebrated by the Faculty of GAPEY, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Coimbatore Campus jointly with SRMV, Maruthi College of Physical Education on 21st June 2024. A total of 835 students and staff of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Institutions participated in the programme.
The prescribed yoga protocol by AYUSH like Basic Loosening Exercises, Yogasanas, Kapalabhati, Pranayama, Dhyana, Sankalpa, and Shanti Patha was followed and performed by the mass gathering.
Dr. R. Giridharan, Head of the Department, GAPEY, welcomed the gathering. Honorable Minister of Information and Broadcasting, & Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. L. Murugan, was the Chief Guest who delivered the special address. Swami Garishthanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Institutions, presided over the function. Swami Buddhidanandaji Maharaj, Assistant Administrative Head of RKMVERI, Swami Virahanandaji Maharaj, Secretary of Maruthi College of Physical Education, Monks, various Heads of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Institutions, and invited delegates attended the programme. Dr. T. Jayabal, Principal of Maruthi College of Physical Education, proposed the vote of thanks.
Children With Special Needs
