In the year 1984, the Government of India had declared the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, 12th January, as the National Youth day. The Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore celebrated the National Youth Day at Swami Vivekananda Park and other places on 10th, 11th and 12th January, 2024 with the following programmes:

Revered Swami Garishthananda, Monks, Heads of Institutions, Staff members, devotees and students of Vidyalaya High School and Swami Shivananda Hr. Sec. School in total 230 members attended the function.

Mettupalayam
In Mettupalayam, National Youth Day was celebrated at Metro Matric Hr. Sec. School on 10th January 2025 at 10.00 am.
Swami Buddhidananda delivered a Special Address. Sri A. Athiyaman, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mettupalayam Sub Division delivered Chief Guest Address and Flagged off the Rally. Around 900 students from 6 institutions organized a rally from Metro Matric School to Abhirami Theatre.
School teachers, students and public all together 1100 members participated in the programme.

Periyanaickenpalayam:
The students of Swami Shivananda Higher Secondary School (Girls Campus) conducted a rally in the Periyanayakkanpalayam area on 11th January 2025 at 2.30 pm.
The Rally was flagged off by Sri K. Ponnusamy, M.A., Deputy Superintendent of Police. Around 475 students and staff members are participated in the rally.

National Youth Day was celebrated at Excel Matric Hr. Sec. School, Narasimanaickenpalayamon 12th January 2025 at 9.30 am. Rally was conducted by ITI Students and the following competitions were conducted:
- Literary Competitions on Swami Vivekananda’s works
- Yoga
- Silambam
- Kabadi
Sri K. Ponnusamy, M.A., Deputy Superintendent of Police Flagged of the Rally. Swami Divyanamananda delivered Special Address. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the above competitions. Winners of the Recitation Competitions delivered their speech. School teachers, students and public all together 500 members participated in the Rally and 450 attended the public meeting.

In Arivozhi Nagar, National Youth Day was celebrated at SamudayaKoodamon 12th January 2025 at 11.30 am.The following Competitions were conducted:
