Annual Day was celebrated by FDMSE on 10 April 2018. Dr. N. Muthaiah, Dean, FDMSE welcomed the gathering and presented the Annual Report. Swami Atmapriyanandaji Maharaj, Vice Chancellor, RKMVERI, Belur Math delivered the chief guest address. Swami Garishthanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Administrative Head, RKMVERI presided over the function. This was followed by prize distribution by the dignitaries. Dr. Sudha A, Assistant Professor, RKMVERI proposed the vote of thanks.
The cultural programme began with a set of bhajans sung by children of low vision unit and FDMSE teacher trainees. This was followed by a group dance on patriotic theme by students of special education unit. After this there was presentation on five sayings of Sister Nivedita using mime by FDMSE boys. The cultural programme concluded with a traditional group dance by FDMSE girls on the song ‘Swagatam Krishna’ invoking the blessings of Lord Sri Krishna.
