On 04th August 2018, in commemoration of 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses Our Polytechnic College “Greenery Club” was inaugurated by Rev. Swami Garishthananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Institutions and the Special Guest, Respected Sri S P Anbarasan, Social Activist, Coimbatore, adopting the slogan of “One Student – One Tree”. Monastic members, Heads of all Vidyalaya Institutions, all faculty members and students of our Polytechnic College attended the function and participated in the tree plantation. Totally, 125 saplings were planted by the students. The trees will be maintained by the students who were allotted with specific responsibility of cleaning, watering and maintaining each tree.
