Vidyalaya receives CSR support from REC Limited to upgrade Infrastructure in our Technical Campus
The REC Foundation, the CSR arm of REC Limited, a Maharatna company, has signed today a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with our Vidyalaya, to construct workshop, and Class room building of 26,225 Square feet in our Technical campus with the estimated outlay of Rs 9.06 Crore. Swami Garishthananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore, and Smt. Thara Ramesh, Head and Chief Programme Manager of REC Limited, Chennai Regional Office, signed the MoA in this regard.
In the MoA signing ceremony, Swam Tadbhasananda, Assistant Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, spoke about various service activities carried out by Vidyalaya, and thanked the REC Limited for its generous contribution.
Thara Ramesh, listed the various contributions made by REC for the up-lift of community, and she expressed confidence that this construction project will provide good learning environment to thousands of rural poor children.
Narayanan Thirupathy, Independent Director, stressed the importance of Skilled man power requirements in Public Sector Undertaking, and Industries, and how the youth can fulfil the skill force requirements of the world. He also said, REC is supporting the under privileged section of society through its CSR fund, and he thanked our Vidyalaya for giving them the opportunity to support.
Earlier Sri G Murali, Principal, of ITI welcomed the gathering.
