Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya organized “State Level Tournaments In Adapted Sports (RKMV Trophy)” for Persons with Disabilities on 19th and 20th August, 2025.
This tournament for persons with disabilities was organized under four categories namely
- Para Sitting Volleyball
- Kabaddi for Hearing Impaired
- Volleyball for Visually Impaired
- Football for Intellectually Challenged
Mrs. S. Bhuvaneshwari, District Sports and Youth Welfare Officer, Coimbatore District inaugurated the Sports meet on 19th August,2025 at Venkatakrishna Indoor Stadium. Swami Garishthananda Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya presided over the Inaugural function. Monks, Heads of Vidyalaya Institutions inaugurated all the matches conducted on these both days and motivated the players.

In the Valedictory Function Sri G. Ravindaranath Singh, Deputy Director(Retd.) Department for Welfare of the Differently –abled Persons, Chennai was the Chief Guest. Swami Garishthananda Maharaj, Swami Tadbhasananda Mahaaraj, Swami Harivratananda Maharaj, Swami Trilokatmananda Maharaj were the dignitaries who distributed the Trophies, Certificates, Medals and Cash Prizes to the Winners.
Children with special needs of Faculty of Disability Management and Special Education, RKMVERI and employees with special needs working in Note Book section were honored by giving them the opportunity to medal the winning teams.
