Monthly Report –August, 2019
The Gardening training for women of Vidyalaya Quarters was conducted from 1st August, 2019 to 3rd August; 2019.The classes were handled by Sri Ramkumar, Assistant Professor, IARD. Theory and practical sessions were conducted at College of Education Conference hall, Vidyalaya Central Office roof gardening and at FDMSE garden in which 16 candidates participated.
Swami Garishthananda, Secretary, Vidyalaya graced the occasion on 3rd August, 2019 and participated in sowing seeds.
Pranayama programme was organized for persons who participate in walking inside Vidyalaya campus on 2nd August, 2019. Around 43 walkers participated in the programme. Dr, T,Thangamani, Assistant professor, MCPE conducted the pranayama programme.
Spoken Sanskrit programme was inaugurated on 5th August, 2019. Sri Vasudevan, Coordinator, Samskrita Bharathi, Coimbatore, inaugurated the programme. Dr.S.Alagesan, Director, SVCHC explained the purposes of the programme. Around 24 candidates attended the programme.
The silambam trainees of SVCHC participated in the Inter Vidyalaya Tournaments on 7th August, 2019 organised by SRKV College of
Education. Around 30 trainees participated in school level, postmatric and college level categories.
The third batch of yoga training – Level 1 (1month) was started from 20th August,2019.

The yoga training for Polytechnic College students was conducted from
23-7-2019 t0 21-8-2019. 25 students completed the training.
38 students are participating in the Bharathanatiyam classes during the month of August, 2019
Lifeskill and Lifestyle Management’ programme for Vidyalaya non teaching staff is being conducted from 19th August,2019 to 30th August,2019 at College of Arts and Science. 23 nonteaching staff members attended the programme.
