Celebration of 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Address STATE LEVEL INTER-COLLEGIATE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT-2018-19
Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya organized Swami Vivekananda Trophy– State Level Basketball Tournament from 28th to 30th September 2018 at Vidyalaya Indoor Stadium. Twenty best Basketball teams have been invited to participate in the tournament. Unfortunately, four teams were unable to participate in the tournament.
The inaugural function was organized on 28th September 2018 at 07.00 am and Swami Sahanananda, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore presided over the function. Sri K. R. Pandian, Managing Director, Sharp Tools graced the occasion as the Chief Guest in the presence of Swami Garishthananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore.
The valedictory function was celebrated on 30th September 2018 at 06.00 pm and Swami Garishthananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore presided over the function. Sri S. Durairaj, Advocate, Coimbatore graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. They honoured the prize winners with Swami Vivekananda Trophy, Cash Prize, Medals and Certificates.
The prize position are as follows
Winner – PSG College of Arts & Science-Coimbatore– Prize money Rs. 15,000/- and Swami Vivekananda Trophy, medals and certificates.
Runner up – GTN College of Arts & Science-Dindugal– Prize money Rs. 12,000/- and Swami Vivekananda Trophy, medals and certificates.
Third Prize – Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology-Chennai– Prize money Rs. 10,000/- and Swami Vivekananda Trophy, medals and certificates.
Fourth Prize – Hindustan Institute of Technology-Chennai– Prize money Rs. 8,000/- and Swami Vivekananda Trophy and certificates.
