Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsar’s centenary memorial 84th Play Festival Yoga World Record for school children was organized by our college on 14.02.2020 at our college ground.
In this Play Festival approximately 3100 Periyanaickenpalayam, Karamadai and Sarkar Samakulam Panchayat Union Government Elementary School children from 60 schools demonstrated five yoga activities for the Yoga World Record i.e. 1. Padmasana 2. Parvatasana 3. Vajrasana 4. Ustrasana 5. Yoga Mudrasana and also demonstrated the rhythmic exercises to the tunes of devotional, patriotic and folk songs. Swami Garishthanandaji Maharaj, Secretary Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya presided the function. Sri. K. Murali Babu, Chief Manager, Ashwath Inc. Tirupur and Dr. Yuva Dayalan, Founder & President, Yuva College of Yoga, Hong Kong were the chief guests. Headmasters and Headmistresses of Elementary Schools from Periyanickenpalayam, Karamadai and Sarkar Samakulam Panchayat Unions, Heads of Institutions and staff members from Vidyalaya institutions participated in this function. t-shirts, tree Saplings, caps, participation certificates to all the schools and to school children were also presented on this occasion. Dr. Ch. VST. Saikumar, Principal and Secretary welcomed the
dignitaries and Dr. T. Thangamani, Assistant Professor proposed vote of thanks.
