Indian Heritage and Culture Youth Enrichment Camp

A Tamil Nadu wide youth camp focusing on Indian Heritage and Culture Youth Enrichment Camp was organized by Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Maruthi College of Physical Education from 12.12.2024 to 14.12.2024. The camp was designed exclusively for female students pursuing physical education, fostering holistic development through Indian values, physical fitness, and social awareness.

Participation

A total of 152 students actively participated in the camp, representing the following institutions:

  1. Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore
  2. Department of Physical Education, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.
  3. Sri Sarada College of Physical Education for Women, Salem.
  4. Gobi Arts & Science College. Erode
  5. Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College .Sivakasi

Objectives
The camp was organized with the following objectives:

  • To identify and nurture the hidden potential of female students.
  • To cultivate mental unity, enhance knowledge, and promote physical strength.
  • To foster intelligence, humanity, religious harmony, and social awareness.
  • To instill patriotism and empower youth to face future challenges effectively.

Inauguration
The camp commenced with an inaugural function presided over by Swami Garishthananda Maharaj, Secretary, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore, who inaugurated the event with Aarathi and the lighting of the Kuthuvilakku.

  • Welcome Address: Dr. T. Jayabal, Principal, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Maruthi College of Physical Education.
  • Chief Guest Address: Swami Tadbhasanandaji Maharaj, Assistant Secretary, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya.
  • Participating institutions were honored with mementos as a token of appreciation.
  • The camp theme and the daily schedule were announced by Dr. T. Thangamani, Programme Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Maruthi College of Physical Education.

The camp concluded with a valedictory function presided over by Swami Tadbhasananda Maharaj, Assistant Secretary of Vidyalaya Educational Institutions. Certificates were distributed to all participants in recognition of their active involvement and dedication throughout the camp.

The Yuva Sanskriti Indian Heritage and Culture Youth Enrichment Camp
successfully achieved its objectives by:
