T. A. T. Kalanilayam Middle School

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya T. A.T. Kalanilayam Middle School, (T.A.T.Kalanilayam Middle School) is one of the Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya institutions established in 1940 by the philanthropist Dr. T.S. AvinashilingamAyyaAvl. in memory of TiruppurAngappaChettiarThillaiyammal, with the sole aim of inculcating man-making and spiritual education in the children from the economically weaker sections of the rural areas located in and around Periyanaickenpalayam Town Panchayat in the Coimbatore district.

It is a coeducational institution under the Tamil Nadu State Board which admits students from Balwadi to standard VIII. The institution educates the students with highly qualified and experienced teachers to ensure Pedagogy Method (I – IV Std), Simplified Activity LearningMethod (SALM) (V Std), Activity Learning Method (ALM) (VI – VIII), life-oriented values, spoken English training, cultural, sports, and scout/guide are imparted to the students at a conducive learning environment to enhance their interpersonal skills.


In line with the significant ideal of the Ramakrishna Mission, that is “Service to Humanity is Service to God” our school, besides rendering the educational service, it caters to the social needs of the underprivileged people at Bharathi Nagar, such as organising medical camps, daily tuition, cultural activities, sports, and conducting religious festivals and so on by adopting the village.
