The Infosys Foundation had sanctioned three STEM Labs for the schools of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore.
The schools are:
- Swami Shivananda Hr Sec School – Boys Campus
- Swami Shivananda Hr Sec School – Girls Campus and
- Residential School – Gurukulam
The STEM Lab of Swami Shivananda Hr Sec School – Boys Campus was inaugurated on 27th March 2023 in the presence of representatives from Infosys Foundation.
On 4th August 2023, the remaining two STEM labs were inaugurated by Swami Garishthananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya. Swami Tamoharananda, Secretary, Residential High School (Gurukulam) and Swami Dhinathananda, Secretary, Swami Shivananda Hr Sec School gave the introduction about the purpose and usage of STEM Labs and expressed gratitude to Infosys Foundation for the sponsorship. Monastic members, Heads of Institutions of Vidyalaya and school teachers participated in the inauguration event. The event was also attended by some external industry experts such as Mr. S Padmanabhan, CEO, Easy Design Systems and Mr. D Raja, Senior Architect, AES Technologies Pvt. Ltd. They also act as mentors for various activities in our schools and colleges.
